HSS Rolls,high speed steel rolls are manufactured with vertical centrifugal casting process, the core material is nodular for excellent toughness, the shell material is HSS with high hardness and excellent wear resistance at high temperature.The shell manufactured with high alloy content and special heat treatment process, the microstructure is martensite and bainite with plenty of carbides such as MC, M2C and M6C distributed amog the matrix. There is almost no hardness drop in the shell until the temperature exceeds 550°C. The wear resistance is about 3-5 times of AIC rolls and HCr iron rolls.
The composition and subsequent heat treatment ensure the hardness of the working layer will reach to 80/85 hsc with uniform hardness throughout the working layer.

- HSS-IM the hss roll for intermediate stand to replace the nodular roll
- HSS-DB the hss roll for dogbone(pre-sliting) stand.
- HSS-ST the hss roll for sliting stand
- HSS-F the hss roll for prefinishing stand and finishing stand
