Acicular Nodular Cast Iron Rolls, also known as SGA rolls, are alloyed with Nickel, Manganese, and Chromium, featuring a bainitic-acicular-martensitic matrix structure. Compared with standard SGP rolls, SGA rolls provide higher tensile strength, hardness, wear resistance, and improved resistance to fire-cracking.

The advanced heat treatment process ensures a stable acicular matrix structure and reliable rolling performance under demanding working conditions. SGA rolls can be produced by static casting (Monoblock) or by centrifugal double-pour casting methods. They are widely used for roughing stands in bar and rebar mills.
